The Inner Critic (or Super-Ego) is an inner structure which interferes with our joy, self-actualization and ability to thrive. Using film clips, art therapy and exercise we will explore this basic obstacle to personal growth.

Marla Estes, M.A. is the founder of The School of the Examined Life and specializes in teaching a trans-personal approach to film-watching as a method of supporting insight and healing.
Delaine Due, M.A., ATR-BC, is Board Certified Art Therapist with the American Art Therapy Association and Art Therapy Credentials Board. She graduated with honors from Sonoma State University with a Masters in Psychology and has been in clinical practice for over 15 years.
